Blue Valley Border Collies embody the spirit of the Border Collie breed - hard-working, intelligent, loyal, selfless dogs that are eager to please. At Blue Valley Border Collies, we focus on natural talent with heritable herding instinct and a personable disposition. These dogs come from proven sheep and cattle working bloodlines and should excel in whichever discipline they are set to.
We want to go above and beyond with Blue Valley Border Collies. Our commitment isn't just to getting a puppy whelped, weaned, and sent to its new home, but to setting the foundation for that dog's future - as part of the farm and the family. All puppies are stimulated for early neurological system development and optimization in the first few weeks of life (known to some as the Super Dog or biosensor program). All adults in our breeding program are registered purebred working dogs, DNA tested, and evaluated for hip and elbow dysplasia. DNA tests and coat color tests can be done for individual puppies prior to pick up by request of the buyer and will be charged to the buyer at the time the test is performed. All puppies will be dewormed, vaccinated, microchipped, vet checked, beginning leash training, nails trimmed, and socialized (introduced to people and other dogs, cattle, sheep, and horses) prior to leaving for new homes.
Our puppy program is available for those interested in getting their puppy started with a early training program or, for whatever circumstances, need to wait to pick up the puppy. Available by monthly increments, the puppy program establishes the puppy's foundational training in potty training, leash training, proper etiquette, and directional training. Age appropriate health care (such as continued puppy booster vaccinations or deworming) can be included as well. If interested, please ask about tailoring the program for your puppy's needs!
$150 non-refundable deposit required to reserve a puppy. Wait length varies by availability and demand. Please specify preferences (parent(s), birth date, pattern or color, or gender, drive/activity level/future purpose, etc.).
